Have had to replace the door handle which hasn't been a problem but the next issue (which may explain why the door handle broke) is that the door will not click closed so it does not operate.

I will ring them again today as, despite the loud bang and smoke coming from the dryer and then tripping the circuit breaker every time it was plugged back in, I plugged it back in (into the same power outlet) yesterday afternoon and it is now working again (put 3 loads of drying in to make sure). I am obviously picking the wrong settings because it is not drying at all and I need to put on about 8 cycles for anything to get remotely dried. Can you tell me what setting I should be putting on. There is synthetics and cottons and then symbols of sun, cupboard and iron. I feel like I've tried all settings. What am I doing wrong. All the others just turn off after about 1 min. It has to be one of the worst dryers put on the market in the past 10 years. Mind you the setting above doesn't turn off after 20 mins. You have to actually turn it off. Needless to say I don't use my dryer very much these days. I guess I am saving electricity!!! I have emptied the water container and the 'secret' container behind the filter but the light keeps coming on. I suspect that the water is not being pushed to the main water container. Any suggestions? It is happening multiple times each cycle and with 5 kids I am ready to just replace it because it has become so unreliable. I only bought it in February last year (2014). I just left it and now use only the 20 mins timed drying.which is often much more than 20 mins. The worst large electrical item I have ever bought!!! Good luck! Kitchen layout advice please. Q Comments (11) I'm uploading a plan on graph paper. Please excuse the amateur nature of it. I cook way better than I draw. I think we're pretty set on the windows given that we want to maximize the view but welcome any tweaks. The plumbing is all flexible at this point. We're thinking trash and recycling to the left of the sinks. I love having 2 sinks. And, my plan is that they'll both be big single bowl. I put in the wall ovens where I thought they might go, but welcome suggestions. I think it might not look as nice as under counter plus range. But I'm a function first person in the kitchen. We'll figure the view and tile will make up for it. I've taken out the butcher block cart, since my hunch was it wasn't big enough to be useful (though I appreciate the suggestion of the bigger IKEA version). We've intended for the functions to be clear here going clockwise from bottom right--fridge and grocery landing zone, prep zone, cook zone, clean zone and serve zone--with dishes closest to the dining room. We've been brainstorming about whether we could do a smaller table in the dining room (not shown) on most days giving us room for a peninsula to come down where the ?? are shown--maybe even at a diagonal.
