It is clear and simple to operate and you can get a good effected tone out of it in seconds even without any prior experience of chorus pedals. As quality as the pedal is and as simple to use it unfortunately does not keep up with those standards in terms of sound. The effect while very variable and easy to control sounds far to artificial for my ears. For someone who is new to playing or perhaps is just less picky than me this could be the pedal for them, I however found it to be too modern and digital sounding. I believe I made a purchase of good value.I really like the way the chorus effect level increases as the pitch of the notes increase. Almost inaudible with the low E but as I'm playing a song and riffing notes near the end of the neck nearest the tuning pegs, I often shoot up the neck for a little accent riffing and the chorus effect is much more pronounced up there which really adds a colorful flavor to my playing.
