It does loops and what not so if you were trying to do multiple tracks with the harmonica you could do that, but I'm not sure that the sound effects would be a good idea. It works in BIVOLT. I was considering BOSS VF1 and TC M one, both interesting but TC has no distortion while Boss looks complicated to tweak. My best solution would be a sort of multifx that I can tweak live. I think you should really look in to the Eventide Eclipse. Everything you want is right there. It's more expensive, but I think it'd be worth it. You can also build your own custom soft row on each patch, for easy front-panel live tweaking. One more thing about the VF-1.you've probably looked into the manual and seen that there are some combo algorithms with distortion and reverb, but what the manual is not so clear on is that those big combo algorithms give you very little control on signal routing.
