Because some components are heavy and ackward, we recommend using two people to complete all of the following steps. Step 2: cut open the end of box two and move the treadle assembly into your fitness area. Once the treadle assembly is in place, cut the shipping strap. Note: do not crimp the cable. Step 3: lift up the treadles and slide the packaging boxes under the base of the treadle assembly and the treadles. The treadles do not lock and must be supported safely. Please note that the walking belt and drive belt are connected and when one part moves the other does as well. Step 4: connect the left upright to the right upright. Hardware should be only hand tightened during this step. Step 5: locate the red plastic tie at the bottom of the right upright.

Secure the tie to the end of the cable which should be coming out of the right side of the treadle assembly. Once the tie is secured to the cable, gently pull the cable up through the upright. Be extra careful not to crimp the cable. Step 6: attach the upright assembly to the treadle assembly. Connect the heartrate connectors to the console connectors. Attach the console to the handlebar assembly. Hand tighten all hardware until inner bolt holes align and then fully tighten the hardware. Step 9: attach the footrail covers to the treadle assembly. Step 10: attach the cylinders (also known as hydrolics or shocks) to the uprights and then to the treadles. Is there a way to reboot the syste. The BowFlex TreadClimber series is advertised alongside more than 1,000 success stories from ordinary users. The TreadClimber, which is a unique combination between a stair climbing machine and a treadmill, forces users to burn calories and tone their bodies more efficiently than they would with a standard treadmill. The first Bowflex TreadClimber, the TC 1000, was introduced in 2003. The most advanced TreadClimber now available is the TC 5500, which offers more console options and more stability than the original. What We Like Comfort: Bowflex TreadClimbers are designed to provide low-impact workouts. Convenience: Users can achieve great results in less time than they would with a traditional treadmill. Motor: The TC 1000 lets user reach a top speed of 3.8 mph. Programs: The TreadClimber 1000 has programmable workouts with twelve intensity levels. Variety: The TC 1000 can be used not only as a treadmill and a stair climber, but also as an elliptical machine. Space-saving: TreadClimbers take up less floor space than a traditional treadmill, so they’re ideal for smaller living quarters. Warranty: Bowflex offers a 100 satisfaction guarantee on all its exercise equipment. What We Don’t Like Assembly required: The TC 1000 requires some assembly after purchase. Not for running: TreadClimbers are not designed for running. Motor warranty: The TC 1000’s one-year warranty suggests that the motor might not last for long. Our Verdict Bowflex is a reputable company, and its TreadClimbers are a smart alternative to traditional treadmills. The TC 1000 provides an efficient low-impact workout. However, newer models have improved upon the TC 1000. The TC 5500 is sturdier, has a more attractive display with more program options, and lets users reach a higher top speed (4.5 mph). The latest model also has a five-year motor warranty.
