I used this thermometer for a month before deciding whether I like it or not and to be honest I love it. To use it is very simple 1. place an applicator tip on the thermometer (will not work otherwise) 2. Push the power button below the screen 3. Insert tip into ear 4. Push the button above the screen to get your reading 5. Hear a beep within 5-10 seconds look at the screen and you have your reading. The display is nice when you turn it on you see your bettery charge and Previous tempature. I think this thermometer fits nicely in the hand and the ejection of the tip applicator is easy. It's easy to hold and comfortable in the ear. The product doesn't work correctly unless you have one of the plastic covers on the tip which is a drawback for me (I don't want to have to keep buying the plastic covers, I'd rather just sanitize the tip with lysol or rubbing alcohol). It's easy enough for my 3 year old to use (even though she can't read the results). I'd recommend this for babies and children because it is quick and causes them no discomfort, it doesn't make any scary noises.Please try again later. Please try again later. Alana K. I know their priciest model has it, but I think it should be standard, considering the majority of the times I take temps on any of my 4 kids, it's at night!Please try again later.
